Fishbowl the dektop client for facebook, which we already discussed on its installation aspects and is first preview. Now its tie to check out its backend that is its source code and its SDK (Software Development Kit) after having some hands on the application.

After so many applications from TheWindowsClub like UltimateWindowsTweaker, FixIE, FixWU, Fix MSE, Windows Access Panel and Prevent, now they are pleased to release a first-of-its-kind application for Windows 7 & Vista: FixWin. FixWin v 1.0 is a 529 KB freeware portable application to repair & fix common Windows annoyances & issues.



The solutions to repair and fix 50 common Windows annoyances, issues, problems have been categorized under 5 tabs, viz : Windows Explorer, Internet & Connectivity, Windows Media, System Tools & Misc Additional Fixes.



It has been tested on Windows 7 & Vista, 32-bit and 64-bit versions. But it is recommended that you run the System File Checker Utility first and then you also create a System Restore Point.

Recently Google released the new sensation of Orkut in Beta phase, at that time the Orkut team decided to make the Orkut very colorful and to enjoy that sparkled Orkut. You can simple change you profile color with a single click. It was great to discover how much you liked this new feature!





Orkut people were earlier enjoying the five colors but team decided as only five colors aren't nearly enough so a whole new colors range is added to the palette which can be changed as per our choice. Not only this the background color of Orkut is not only confined to standard blue background, but it too changes to match with the new hue you have choosen.

As we all are seeing that after Windows XP there was a long gap in the generation of Windows. But after that we saw two big and frequent changes in the form of Windows Vista and Windows 7 off-course. Within few years of time span both major release were in front of the world and now Microsoft have some better plan here regarding its next iteration for both Windows Client and Windows Server i.e Windows 8.

Microsoft will deliver its next generation Windows code name "Windows 8" in just a wait of two or three years i.e. in 2012.




As per these roadmaps we can easily conclude that Windows 8 or the next generation of Windows is not far but only in the time span of three years from now.

After you complete the Installation of Microsoft Office 2010 Beta you will be prompted that your product's activation is failed and you need to activate the product. So here are the simple steps incuded in the activation procedure of the product:



In the Title Bar it is reflected that the product activation failed, and its neccessary to activate the product.




Enter your product key which you get at the time of downloading the product.





Click on the Next button as The product activation will begin over internet.

After Google get inspired from the Facebook and Twitter features and popularity of Twitter they implemented the same to their Beta version of Orkut as New ORKUT BETA. The new versin is not open to all of its members but i got the invitation of that and using it. Now I'v five invitation which I can use to invite 5 more persons for testing the new version. Much more interesting is that its is compatible with the new operating system i.e. Windows 7.

You can easily import contacts from your mail services listed in this version. Simply click on Start Adding Friends.

If you are facing a problem that your laptop's speaker (or individual one) is not giving upto the mark sound and you are expecting something hard then this will help you a lot.
In Windows 7 there is an option to Enhance the audio of your current speaker configuration which in turn improve your audio experience. Simply follow the steps given below:

Step 1:


Right click on the volume icon in the System Tray and select Playback devices. Or navigate to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound.

Step 2:


Now in the current tab i.e. Playback, right click on the Speakers and select Properties.

Step 3:


Navigate to Enhancements tab and uncheck Disable all enhancement if it is not checked.
Now Check the following options: Bass Boost | Loudness Equaization. and you can also check either Virual Surround or Room Correction, only one can be checked once. Now click on Apply and enjoy the enhanced sound coming right from your speakers. Happy Windows Computing !!!
